Fue re-lanzado en DVD-Audio el 22 de diciembre de 2004. El álbum fue lanzado en los EE.UU. por Geneon Entretenimiento 1 de enero de 2004.
Track # 1 es el director de la versión editada del tema de apertura " Cruel Angel Tesis A ", interpretada por Yoko Takahashi, con letra de Neko Oikawa.
Track # 2 y # 23 son dos versiones de Bart Howard, "Fly me to the Moon", el tema de anime de cierre fue grabado en los estudios Abbey Road realizado por Claire y Yoko Takahashi, respectivamente. Las notas contienen la letra de los dos temas musicales.

Cuenta con tres instrumentales, cinco vocales, y cuatro pistas de drama. Se publicó el 21 de diciembre de 1996 en Japó. La portada del álbum cuenta con una ilustración por Yoshiyuki Sadamoto, el diseñador de personajes de la serie.
